Bear collecting has been rising in popularity since the 1980's, with more adults interested in finding bears that remind them of their first Teddy, or finding a new one that begs to be taken home! I love to make bears, but like most arctophiles, I love to read about Teddy Bears and learn more about them. In honor of Teddy's 100th birthday, I've written a brief Teddy Bear history and have started writing up a list of definitions for bear collectors (see Arcto-What??).
